for Hackney Wick Festival

'I am sure I speak for all of us when I say we had a fabulous time on the riverbank last night. The evening was so magical and a perfect end to a very busy and exciting weekend. I can't help thinking that we should find ways of letting others experience such a unique and lovely event. You guys are really special and I am so glad you found Hackney Wick.'

Captain Pugwash Stories
presented by Floating Picture Book

Captain Pugwash and his motley crew will be afloat upon the waters of Hackney Wick this Saturday and Sunday, calling young would be pirates from the neighborhood to the Tree Island to hear stories of his miss-adventures. Aimed at children aged 5-9years, the new recruits will be invited to don a pirate cap, take their place upon the Island, and give out the call 'Arrrrrr', whereupon 30 minutes of storytelling will commence. Parental supervision would be appreciated.

Bounce Music Workshops
presented by Live&UNamplified

The Bounce aims that the children who take part will come away with a better understanding of rhythm, pitch, spacial awareness, co-ordination but most importantly enjoying making music with their friends.
